With more than 30 years of experience in the photography industry, Susan's Portrait Designs has built a reputation for capturing the beauty and personality of every subject with stunning results. Professional photographer Susan Doherty specializes in creating timeless portraits that showcase the unique qualities of each client. Susan offers a range of portrait options, including family, individual, maternity, newborn, and more. Her studio is located in beautiful Wellington, KS, and she welcomes clients from all across the area.
In 2024 one of Susan's images was chosen as one of the top 32 of the Nation in the Newborn Category of the Professional Photographers International Print Competition. It was displayed at the National Convention in Kentucky and was awarded a bronze award.
This year at the International Print Competition she was awarded the Silver award for one of her newborn images being selected in the top 16. The ribbons worn, represent many degrees & awards she has won during her duration of her career.

Each session typically lasts for 10 minutes and includes one pose against the unique seasonal background featured for the current sessions. While I'll capture several poses to ensure we capture the perfect expression, rest assured that I'll handpick the best pose for your selected package on the day of your session.
